Experience the Beauty of the Pentland Hills: A Wild Swimming Retreat
The overnight retreat is based at an 18th-century steading at Thriepmuir Farm, nestled at the foot of the Pentland Hills. Rich in history, the farm steading offers a rustic and charming escape from the everyday.
We’ll set up camp on the grounds in a secluded spot near Thriepmuir and Harlaw Reservoirs, sleeping under the stars in the peaceful surroundings of the steading. You’ll have access to the steading’s facilities, including a small kitchen and seating area, an outdoor compost toilet, campfire, and eco hut—providing a perfect balance of comfort and adventure.
Whether you're a seasoned wild swimmer or new to the experience, this retreat promises a refreshing escape into nature, with moments of serenity, connection, and exhilaration.
