A Garden of Eden by Kallbad is a unique autumn sauna and cold-water ritual set in the orchard garden of Kings of Kinloch. Journey through heat, cold, fire, tea, nature and stillness, outdoors in the marquee or inside the mansion.

Kings of Kinloch is a privately owned Georgian mansion house in Perthshire’s Strathmore Valley.
Emma and Richard have sensitively restored the house in recent years, preserving its original character while creating a warm and much loved family home. In 2026, they began opening its doors for a carefully considered collection of photoshoots, private events, retreats and wellbeing experiences, allowing others to experience the house and its surroundings in a new way.

A house with a new chapter. A Garden of Eden becomes part of this new chapter: an opportunity to experience the orchard, the grounds and selected rooms of the mansion through a slower, sensory and restorative ritual.

A unique autumn sauna residency in the Strathmore Valley, Perthshire.
This October, Kallbad comes to Kings of Kinloch: a privately owned Georgian mansion house, sensitively restored by its owners, Emma and Richard, and set among the changing autumn landscape of the Strathmore Valley.
Your experience begins outside, beneath the garden canopy, where the warmth of the wood-fired sauna meets the contrast of cold water. Choose the plunge, cold-water buckets or the restored garden bathtub or simply enjoy the fresh orchard air. Rest by the garden fire or in the marquee, then step inside the Georgian mansion for herbal tea and a seasonal biscuit, warmed by the glow of the hearth.

A slower kind of autumn
Set against the autumn colours of the Strathmore Valley, it is an invitation to step away from the everyday and return to a more natural rhythm: warmth, cold, fresh air, firelight, tea and time to simply be.
Your ritual begins in the orchard garden, where you will be warmly welcomed and introduced to the sauna, cold-water options, garden fire, marquee and mansion reception rooms.
Journey through the experience at a pace that feels right for you. Enjoy the warmth of the sauna, choose the cold plunge, buckets, restored garden bathtub or simply fresh orchard air, then take time to rest beneath the orchard trees.
No previous sauna or cold-water experience is required. Cold immersion is optional, and guidance is provided throughout.
Nothing to achieve. Nowhere else to be. Just a little time to restore your energy, your attention and your connection to the present moment.
Hosted together
A Garden of Eden is hosted together by Kallbad and Kings of Kinloch.
The collaboration grew from a mutual mindset. Emma and Richard share Kallbad founders Linsey and Anibal’s passion for health and wellbeing, a love of the outdoors and an appreciation of taking time to slow down and be present.
Kallbad brings the sauna, cold-water ritual and outdoor wellbeing experience to the orchard. Kings of Kinloch brings the warmth, history and character of the house, welcoming guests into selected living rooms for tea, a seasonal biscuit and fireside rest.
Together, we create one unhurried journey through the garden and mansion.
The orchard, sauna, fire, marquee and house are different spaces, but all are part of the same experience.
Guests have access to the toilets inside the mansion, and changing facilities are available in the marquee or the mansion.
A Garden of Eden Shared Session
Our Shared Sessions welcome up to six guests, creating a relaxed and sociable sauna experience. You can book one space for yourself, or multiple spaces for friends, partners or family members.
Unless your group books all six spaces, you may be joined by other guests inside the sauna. Shared sessions create a relaxed and sociable sauna ritual with space to enjoy the warmth, fresh air and the wider Garden of Eden experience at your own pace.
Before or after your sauna, you are welcome to enjoy the optional cold-water experiences, garden fire, picnic area, orchard marquee and designated mansion rooms, with herbal tea and a seasonal biscuit included.

Ideal for friends, couples, birthdays, small celebrations, team gatherings or simply a slower afternoon with the people who matter. Groups of up to six people.
Private Hire gives your group exclusive use of the wood-fired sauna for 55 minutes, with optional cold-water experiences and support throughout your visit. Afterwards, take your time around the garden fire, in the picnic area and marquee, or inside selected rooms of the mansion for tea, a seasonal biscuit and fireside rest.

A Garden of Eden Cosy Private Hire
Ideal for groups of up to eight people who want to share a slower kind of celebration.
The wood-fired sauna can welcome all eight guests, creating a warm, close and cosy atmosphere among your own people. But the experience is bigger than the sauna.
Take turns naturally between sauna heat, the cold plunge, buckets or restored garden bathtub. Gather around the garden fire, settle into the marquee, share a picnic beneath the orchard trees or step inside the mansion for tea, a seasonal biscuit and time beside the fire.
There is no expectation for everyone to sauna or use cold water. Whether a guest comes for the heat, the garden, the conversation, the quiet or simply the chance to be together, everyone is part of the experience.
